What A Week!

Charlotte Bronte is 200 years old on April 21st, the Queen is 90 the same day and Shakespeare died 400 years ago on April 23rd. Congratulations to the birthday girls and commiserations to Shakespeare - how much poorer our lives would be without you!

Come and see our book-laden window (including ‪#‎MuchAdoAboutNothing‬‪#‎JaneEyre‬ and ‪#‎TheUncommonReader‬) decked with quotes on bunting pennants and knitted corgis - and we listen to us talk about it all on ‪#‎BBCRadioTees‬ on Tuesday April19th...

Juliet Barker - The Brontes

On 21st June, Juliet Barker will be at Middleham North Yorkshire to speak about the Brontes. Juliet's passion for the Bronte family and their writings is reflected in her extensive publications and no doubt this will be a wonderful event. It is the 200th year anniversary of the birth of Charlotte Bronte on 21st April this year.
